Hidden Treasures on IRS’ Website

The AICPA Exempt Organizations Tax Technical Resource Panel recommends a following pages on a IRS website for practitioners scheming earnings for free organizations:

1.  Life Cycle of an Exempt Organization – this page covers a 5 stages in an organization’s life cycle, provides exegetic information, and links to forms that an classification might need to record with a IRS.

2.  Common Errors – This page lists common errors on a Form 990, Form 990-EZ and Form 990-PF.

3.  EO Update – this page links to a IRS’ newsletter with information for tax-exempt organizations and taxation practitioners.  At a bottom of a page, there is also a couple to allow to destiny editions.
