Express-1 Expedited Solutions’ second-quarter profit rose to $820,000, or 2 cents per share, from $601,000, or 2 cents, a year earlier.
Revenue grew 31% to $41.6 million, the company said late Thursday.
Revenue grew 91.8% at its Bounce Logistics unit, while rising 51.3% at its Express-1 unit and 58.5% at the Concert Group Logistics unit.
For the full 2010 year, income jumped to $4.9 million, or 15 cents a share, from $1.7 million, or 5 cents, the year before.
Revenue for the year gained 57.8% to $158 million.
Express-1 Expedited Solutions is a non-asset based transportation company that operates through its Express-1, Concert Group Logistics, Express-1 Dedicated and Bounce Logistics units.
