Logistics and intermodal firm Hub Group’s fourth-quarter profit jumped 25.7% to $12.5 million, or 34 cents a share, from $10 million, or 26 cents, a year earlier.
Revenue rose 17.7% to $479.9 million, company said late Thursday.
Intermodal revenue rose 19% to $340 million, brokerage revenue increased was unchanged from the previous year at $79 million and Unyson Logistics revenue gained 39% to $61 million.
For the full 2010 year, profit jumped 26.8% to $43.5 million, or $1.16 per share, from $34.3 million, or 91 cents, in 2009.
Yearly revenue was $1.83 billion, compared with $1.5 billion the prior year.
Hub Group is ranked No. 42 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 list of the largest logistics companies in the United States and Canada.
