Oil rose slightly Thursday but held under under $100 a barrel, down from more than $101 earlier in the week, Bloomberg reported.

Crude futures finsihed the trading day at $99.65, up 29 cents from Wednesday, on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Bloomberg said.

Oil had closed over $101 a barrel on Tuesday, topping the $100 for the first time in two weeks.
